Christmas In Olde Newburgh

Old Dam Band Outdoor Holiday Concert, Patio of Cafe Newburgh Restaurant

Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire with an open hearth with old-fashioned roasted chestnuts

Stroll Historic State Street and Jennings Street to see the decorated homes. Several businesses downtown will stay open late

Have your picture taken with Santa & Mrs. Claus and give your Christmas wish list to them at Preservation Hall the old town hall on State Street

Saturday, December 6

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Merchants’ Open Houses – Register to win a wreath from participating merchants. Winners will be announced at Sunday's Christmas tree lighting ceremony

2 p.m.

Christmas music and Street Corner Caroling with the Old Dam Community Band

10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. & 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will again be on hand from  for photos with his friends

Sunday, December 7

Noon - 5 p.m.

Our annual wonderful old historic house tours in downtown Newburgh will be open to the public. Tickets are $6/each and are available at HNI (9 W. Jennings St.) or at the homes the day of the tours

1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will again be on hand from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. for photos with his friends

5:30 p.m.

Castle High School Choral Group – “The Knight Sensations” – performing at the Riverfront Plaza

6 p.m.

Santa arrives for the Lighting the Town Christmas Tree at the Riverfront Plaza
