RIVERTOWN GREENWAY

The Rivertown Greenway is under development in Warrick County

designed to connect with the Pigeon Creek Greenway under

construction in Vanderburgh County near Angel Mounds and

proceed east to the New Lock and Dam parking lot on SR 66.

The trail co-sponsored by the Town of Newburgh and Warrick County,

will be approximately 5 miles in length and constructed in phases.

Development is now under way for Phase I of this hard surface trail.

The project will use two historic bridges to serve as stream crossings

and incorporate trail amenities that include benches, bike racks,

safety and wayfaring signage, interpretive signage and landscaping.

All construction will be ADA compliant and for ease of viewing the

trail will be split into 3 sections and the following photos will

show the planned path the trail will follow through Warrick County.
