Historic Newburgh Incorporated is
offering a 2009 graduating senior a $1000
college scholarship. To qualify for the
scholarship the student must either live
in the 47630 zip code or his/her parents must be
members of HNI.
Students must also have a 2.5 minimum
grade point average.
Two short essays must be written by the
student and submitted to your
High School Guidance Counselor
by Friday, March 13, 2009,
along with
the completed application.
Applicants will be scored in areas of
academic achievement, community service, work experience, and the
essay questions,
relating to historic preservation and community involvement.

2008 Annual Scholarship Recipient
The fifth
recipient of the HNI Scholarship is Kathleen Elizabeth Boyer,
a 2008 Castle High School graduate,
who will study
Art Education at Ball State University.

2007 Annual Scholarship Recipient
The fourth
recipient of the
HNI
Scholarship is Christopher Cashel-Cordo,
a 2007 Castle High School graduate,
who will study
Economics at Indiana University.

2006 Annual Scholarship Recipient
The third
recipient of the
HNI
Scholarship was Sarah Gore,
a 2006 Castle High School graduate, who
is studying
Pharmacy at Butler University.

2005 Annual Scholarship Recipient
The second recipient of the
HNI
Scholarship was Amanda Eimer, a 2005
Castle High School graduate, who is studying
Accounting at the
University of Southern Indiana.
